A standing table
The Ledger is a small supper society that meets twice a month at a long table in the back room of an old printworks. Seats are kept few on purpose. Add your name to the waiting book and we will write when one comes free.
One email is all the waiting book needs. We hold it quietly, send no more than a note when a seat opens, and ask nothing else of you until you choose to sit down. There is no fee to wait — only patience and a free evening when the time comes round.
