Marlow Vance

Art direction & brand design

Selected

A short edit of recent commissions across identity, packaging, and editorial — each shaped end to end, from the first sketch to the printed object that lands on a shelf.

About

I am an independent art director working with founders and small teams who care about how a thing is made as much as how it looks. The studio stays deliberately small so the work stays close.

How the work runs

Most projects begin with a week of looking — references, language, and constraints — before a single mark is drawn. From there it is a tight loop of proofs until the thing feels inevitable.

What I take on

Brand identities, packaging, and printed matter, plus the occasional art-direction commission for a launch. A handful of engagements a year, chosen for fit over volume.

Contact

The studio books a season ahead. Send a short note about the project, the timing, and roughly where it sits, and I will reply within a few days.

Thank you

Your note is with the studio. I read every message myself and will reply within a few days to talk through scope, references, and a realistic schedule before anything is committed.
