A one-bench bindery making hand-bound books, boxes, and repairs — sewn on tapes, cased in cloth and paper, and finished slowly enough that the spine still opens flat in fifty years.

Small editions for writers and presses, one-off commissions, and rebinds of books that have earned a second life. Most jobs are between five and fifty copies; the press keeps the list short so each one is sewn and cased by the same pair of hands from start to finish.

The bench is in a shared workshop; visits by appointment. Send a note about the book or box you have in mind.
